The Volkswagen Vento has not been doing particularly well in the Indian car market. Many buyers are of the opinion that the Vento lacks equipment. However, Volkswagen is well aware of this and have finally added more features to the Vento. The German automaker has updated the top end Highline variant which will now get audio controls on steering wheel, USB socket (in the glovebox), leather wrapped steering wheel and rear parking sensors. The company has increased the price of the Vento by close to Rs. 20,000/- which is why the Vento highline diesel is priced at Rs. 11.53 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai).

Is this only for vento highline diesel or its for both petrol as well as diesel
Jasbir, it is for both petrol and diesel Highline variants.
Just visited VW Downtown and the sales rep there told me the updates were applicable to the Diesel Highline only and not the Petrol Highline….dunno if its true of if they’re trying to rid old stock…
Sachin, petrol cars are not selling so they will do anything to ensure they clear the stocks.
