Hero HX250R is a performance oriented motorcycle unveiled by Hero MotoCorp in 2014. The Hero HX250R is developed by Hero MotoCorp with mechanical inputs from Erik Buell Racing (EBR). In terms of styling, the Hero HX250R looks sharp and energetic. Powering the Hero HX250R is a 249cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve, liquid-cooled and fuel-injected engine that produces a peak power of 31 BHP at 9000 RPM with 26 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The Hero HX250R weighs just 139 kgs and the exhaust is placed under the seat. The Hero HX250R uses telescopic forks at the front and 5-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. It uses ByBre made 300 mm front disc brake and 200 mm rear disc brake with combined braking system and optional ABS. The Hero HX250R will be priced around Rs. 1.5 lakhs when launched in India in September 2014 and the bike uses a Trellis frame.
