Mr. Praful Patel, Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises has unveiled the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept Car in presence of Mr. Thomas Matussek, German Ambassador to India. The Vision EfficientDynamics is powered by a 3-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with two electric motors at the axles. This 328hp motor produces 290NM of torque and enables the car to reach 100 kmph in just 4.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 250 kmph. With just 99g/km CO2 emissions, the Vision has a cruising range of 700 kms and can run on both hybrid motor or engine. [click to continue…]
