Force Motors is getting ready to launch new variants of the Force One SUV in the later half of the year. The commercial makers foray into passenger cars with the Force One SUV has seen only one variant being launched, without 4-wheel drive system and ABS. Force One Is 3 Cars At Once

Yes, you read that right. The Force One SUV is three cars at once. From the front, the Force One looks very similar to the Nissan X-Trail. When viewed from the side, the SUV looks like the Ford Endeavour. Coming to the rear, the Force One looks alot like the Lexus LX470. Now all these vehicles are priced much higher than the Force One and will confuse lay man alot. Force could have designed the One SUV to distinguish itself from all these vehicles easily. Force Motors has launched its first passenger vehicle, the Force One SUV. The Force One SUV is available in one variant only and only in 4×2. Amitabh Bachchan has been roped in as thh brand ambassador for an year and has ordered two units of the SUV for his personal use. The Force One SUV is priced at Rs. 10.65 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi), Rs. 11.1 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and has an ARAI certified mileage of 12 kmpl. Deliveries start from 1st September, 2011. The Force One SUV is powered by a Mercedes-Benz engine and features dual mass flywheel. The 2.2-liter Daimler sourced motor produces 141 bhp of power at 3800 RPM and 320 Nm of torque between 1600-2400 RPM. The engine is Euro 5 ready and is optimized for -20 degree temperature. Force Motors has officially declared the launch of the Force One SUV for the 19th of August, 2011. The automaker will unveil the car in all its glory and announce the prices and features on the said date. The Force One SUV is powered by a Mercedes-Benz sourced 2.2-liter diesel motor which produces 140 bhp of power and 320 Nm of torque. We expect the Force One SUV to be priced around Rs. 12 lakhs, giving tough competition to the Mahindra Scorpio and upcoming Tata Safari Merlin.

Force One Advertisement photo

The upcoming Force One SUV’s launch is just around the corner as the company has started advertisements of the upcoming vehicle. Force Motors has used hoardings to tease people with their upcoming SUV. Although nothing else has been shown except the lower half of the front, the Force One SUV can easily be identified to carry day time running lights and projector headlamps. The above hoarding was snapped in Pune, which also happens to be the home city of the manufacturer. With the company showroom on its way to completion and advertisements already in place, we can expect the Force One SUV to be launched anytime soon.

Force One SUV Interiors photo

The upcoming Force One SUV’s interiors were a mystery, till recently. But now thanks to OnCars reader Satyajeet, the interiors are no mystery anymore. The beige dashboard features wood inserts and are a far cry for a Rs. 12 lakh vehicle. Some of the features of the Force One SUV which can be seen in the interior pictures include steering mounted audio controls, multi-information LCD display (expected to give real time readouts of fuel consumption, range and odometer), 12C socket, cigarette lighter, JVC Audio system, BlueTooth connectivity, lockable glove box, dual air conditioning vents, center arm rest and collapsible seats. Force One Showroom photo

Force Motors will launch its SUV in India by the end of this month. The Force One is the first product for passenger car market and will be priced around Rs. 12 lakhs. The company has started developing a retail chain to sell the Force One and one of these showrooms is coming up at SB Road in Pune. The Force Motors showroom will take position near the Mitsubishi and Maruti Suzuki showroom on the same lane. An Audi showroom is nearby too. The Company owned showroom is expected to open soon with work at full swing.
