Mahindra has announced the global roll-out of the Genio range of pick-ups. Developed to cater to the evolved needs of the small and medium entrepreneurs (SMEs) and businessmen alike, the Genio is a versatile, next generation pick up. The Genio is powered by a 2.2-liter m-Hawk engine which produces 120 BHP of power at 4000 RPM and 290 Nm at 1600-2800 RPM. The Genio range is available in both Euro 3 and Euro 4 compliant versions. Mahindra has launched the Genio DC, its next generation double cabin pick up. The Mahindra Genio double cabin pick up is priced at Rs. 5.46 lakh (ex-showroom Karnataka, BS3) for the base version. Powered by a mDI CRDe 4-cylinder engine which produces 75 HP of power and 220 Nm of torque, the Genio double cabin features adjustable 2 din Music System, power steering, power windows, air conditioner and immobilizer.
Mahindra is looking forward on exporting its newly launched small commercial vehicle Genio. The company believes the Genio having design, comfort and convenience of international standards. Mahindra currently exports the Bolero to SAARC countries and South Africa. Mahindra has launched the Genio, its next generation commercial vehicle. The 1.2 tonne pick up, is being targeted to cater to the small and medium businessmen transportation need and is expected to change the face of the pick-up industry in India. The Genio is competitively priced at Rs. 4.99 lakhs (BS3 ex- showroom, Thane). The BS4 compliant version is also available for BS4 markets. The second product to roll out of Mahindra’s Chakan facility, the Genio is powered by a CRDe engine equipped with 75 HP power and 220 Nm torque, which allows it to handle any kind of load and terrain with ease.
