Shreyans Group has just now announced the launch of Maserati in India. The company which also deals in Ferrari cars for our country will sell the Maserati Quattroporte 4-door sports saloon, the GranCabrio convertible and the GranTurismo coupé. More details to be updated soon. The deliveries of Maserati cars will commence from July, 2011 with the first showroom coming up in Mumbai, followed by the second one in Delhi next year. Maserati aims to sell 100 units in India by 2014. Maserati has its presence in 63 countries (including India) and the United States accounts for the maximum sales of the Italian automaker. Maserati will launch its supercars in India in April, 2011. The company, which is part of the Fiat Group will launch the Quattroporte sedan at Rs. 3 crore, the GranTurismo Coupe at Rs. 4.7 crore and the GranCabrio for Rs. 5 crore. Maserati manufacturers all its cars at its Modena facility in Italy and exports it to 57 countries through out the world. Two-times Formula One World Champion Fernando Alonso, driver of Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, has “unveiled” in Fiorano the Maserati GranCabrio that he has selected. The Spanish driver has chosen for the GranCabrio elegant fixtures, preferring a darker shade for the exterior in combination with two-tone upholstery for the interior. Grigio Granito is the colour of the body, while the interior has a combination of Pearl Beige and Bordeaux leather, matching a soft top of the same shade. [click to continue…]
