Remember the SSC Ultimate Aero TT? The supercar from Shelby Supercars which was touted as the fastest car in the world till the more power Bugatti Veyron Super Sport came along. Well, the same company is now all set to take the title of the fastest production car in the world back with its new offering, the Tuatara. Named after a New Zealand reptile, the SSC Tuatara is powered by a massive 7.0-liter, twin-turbocharged, V8 engine which produces 1350 hp of power. The massive power is transferred to the rear wheels through a 7-speed manual gearbox or an optional 7-speed SMG Paddle Shift sequential automatic transmission.
