One adventurous family of four, oh sorry, five which includes a Fiat Linea T-Jet will be going on an expedition which covers more than 12 countries, driving more than 15,000 kms in just 99 days.

Fiat Linea T-Jet Adventure Trip
The Fiat Linea T-Jet is among the best driver’s car in India under Rs. 15 lakhs

Many people are known to have traveled across different countries in an adventure trip in vehicles like SUVs and even touring motorcycles. But moving away from the ordinary, a family of four are going to go on an interesting expedition from the capital of Karnataka, Bangalore, all the way upto the capital of France, Paris in a Fiat Linea T-Jet. Yes that’s right, the trip which covers more than 12 countries, a distance of over 15,000 kms will be covered in a short span of just 99 days. This is the first time ever in India that a family has decided to travel abroad in a powerful and driver-oriented sedan such as the Fiat Linea T-Jet.

The team who will be going on this expedition includes Anand Baid, 38 a film-maker, animation professional and educator at Native Puppets; Punita Baid, 36 who is the program manager at Native Puppets; Yash Baid, 12, an avid football lover studying in sixth grade; Dhriti Baid, 8, aspiring foreign language linguist and dancer who is studying in second grade. The team says that it’s not just the four of them, but a fifth family member, namely their comfortable and loved Fiat Linea T-Jet which is going to be a part of the trip as well.

The family call themselves team L.I.F.E. (Little Indian Family of Explorers) and they will be travelling to explore the various parts of the northern hemisphere including countries like Nepal, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Switzerland (Alps), Spain and France. Fiat India has encouraged and supported team L.I.F.E. for this grueling expedition.

The Linea which is not known as a vehicle that can be used for expeditions, has a healthy ground clearance of 185 mm that will help team L.I.F.E. tackle rough terrains without much hassle. Every country that they will be visiting will provide a different driving culture as well as different geographies. They will travel through scenic beauties which include mountains in Kyrgyzstan, the intricate Persian architecture in Iran, swimming in the Black Sea at Turkey, a live crater in Turkmenistan, driving in the Alps in Switzerland and cumulating their journey with culture rich France. The expedition will be made into a documentary which will cover all the planning process, preparation process, challenges faced along with the once in a life-time experiences that team L.I.F.E. will enjoy as a family.

Talking about the Fiat Linea T-Jet, the vehicle draws power from a 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol mill which thrusts out 114 Italian stallions at 5000 RPM with 207 Nm of torque reaching its peak at a mere 2200 RPM. The sedan is known for its impressive ride and build quality and features rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps, climate control AC, cruise control, Bluetooth and the likes. Fiat India says that the features available in the Linea T-Jet will help the team to focus more on the scenic beauty, vast landscapes and milestones rather than spending that precious family time adjusting different things with demanding conditions that is common on such long journeys.

We wish team L.I.F.E all the best!
