Polaris Showcases Ranger & Sportsman At Expo

Polaris unveiled the Sportsman 90 and RANGER RZR 170 at the 2012 Auto Expo. These machines are targeted towards outdoor loving youth of our country. Known as the Polaris Youth Powersports products, these vehicles don’t require a license for you to operate and have go-anywhere capabilities. The company also showcased Widetrak snowmobile and Victory motorcycles. Polaris also offered test rides along with demos from professional riders to showcase the capabilities of the Polaris range.

The Polaris ATV Sportsman 90 is the best selling youth ATV int he world. It is powered by a 4-stroke engine, mated to a automatic transmission. A 2-wheel drive layout, Polaris also offers a helmet and safety flag as standard. The long-travel rear suspension and adjustable speed limiter ensure a comfortable ride. The Ranger RZR 170 is a 2-wheel drive vehicle and uses a 4-stoke engine. Using an electric start along with an automatic PVT transmission, the Ranger has two helmets and a safety flag as standard. The Bucket seats with 3-point seat belts and adjustable speed limiter ensure safety on all terrains. These machines start at a price of Rs. 2.40 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
