Our friends at Motoroids have snapped the European spec Ford Fiesta hatch in Chennai. Though Ford is mum on it, there is no indication whether it will be launched in India considering that premium hatchbacks don’t really sell in a market which is dominated by small affordable cars.

Its possible that Ford is using the Euro spec Fiesta for power train testing probably because the current Fiesta is almost 5 years old will go in for replacement soon. Even if Ford plans to launch this spec Fiesta, it surely will be the sedan which may replace or continue to sell with the current Fiesta.

Ford has unveiled the Ford Verve Sedan Concept and the new Fiesta will take lots of cues from it.
