Yamaha India plans to launch the much awaited FZ15 in the third week of this month. The FZ15 is inspired by the FZ1, just like the R15 is inspired by the R1. The FZ15 will come with a air cooled carb engine mated to a 5 speed gearbox and will be tuned for good low and middle end grunt. Expected power is 15bhp.
The bike is being tested by Yamaha employees throughout the country and will be priced at Rs. 85,000 ex showroom. It does look muscular and more hunky then the hunk, but its costlier too. Speculations are rife that the motor in this bike is a 160cc unit and the bike will be called the FZ-16. Will it set the sales chart on fire? Your guess is as good as mine.

Saying 85,000 its too costly, for a bike which is so similar with FZ16 and the nuance between fz15 and fz16 is CC( a difference of 10 )and no change in design and also no rear disc breaks, jus b’cos of increased CC’s they should not quote this much of price..!
