The Hyundai i20 has been eagerly awaited by many. We had a dekho (look) of the Hyundai i20 Asta and are really impressed with the quality of the car. Hyundai has a winner in the i20 but they need to put a bigger engine in the car. The current 1.2L Kappa makes the engine bay look very very empty. The overall quality of the car is top notch and all the details seem to be have been looked into. Good job by Hyundai there. This car is a very good car for those who don’t love driving.

When we inquired for a test drive the sales man said “Aap Hyundai i10 chalalo, aapko i20 ka feel mil jayega, both have the same engine”

The car doesn’t feel like a small car when you are seated inside and feels big from the inside. Exterior looks quite good and the interior could have been better if Hyundai stopped playing with the interior colours. Rear legroom is pretty good too. Doors shut with a very solid thud.

We were quite surprised to notice there was no damping on the inside of the hood. Usually all cars nowadays come with some sort of black rubber to reduce noise and vibration. Looks like Hyundai too has done some cost cutting, first with the puny engine and then this. We can’t really say much about the worth of car till we drive it, but on paper the car has it for equipment and quality but we really expected more POWER!
