Yamaha_R15_Race_One

With the Yamaha R15 One Make Race Championship nearing its end with just one round to go, the fourth leg of the league concluded at the Madras Motor Race Track, Chennai with bikers blazing the track with gusto and thrill reloaded. The racing track was set abuzz with roaring excitement as hordes of youngsters turned up to witness three days of biking expertise shown by the participants. Yamaha had organized this championship as part of SIDVIN-FMSCI National Motorcycle Racing Championship 2010. This year, Yamaha R15 One Make Race Championship was open to participation from both Yamaha and Non-Yamaha customers.

G.R. Santosh emerged the winner in Race 1 in the novice category while Bharat Raj J and Sai Kishore bagged the second and third spot respectively. In Race 2 of the same category, Arun J Pillai took the first spot, G R Santosh grabbed the second and Bharat Raj J captured the third position. R Deepak stole the show by winning both races in the expert section. Sudhakar Kesavan came second in Race 1 in the expert section while D. Dinesh Kumar came third. D. Dinesh Kumar showed his dexterity and came second in Race 2 of this category and Shayam Shankar took the third position in the podium.

4th_Leg_Yamaha_R15

All the riders participating in Yamaha R15 One Make Race Championship will be evaluated till the fourth Round on the basis of their performance. The best performing riders (One from each Class: 1 – NOVICE and 1 – EXPERT) would be given a chance to participate in the “YAMAHA ASEAN CUP RACE” to be held in Malaysia later in 2010. Talented Riders can further get a chance to compete in “ASIA ROAD RACE CHAMPIONSHIP RACE 600cc Class” based on their performance in Yamaha ASEAN Cup Race-2010. Rider selected based on his performance in the Asia Road Race Championship 600cc Class can make his Life Time Dream come true as he could get a chance to participate in the Grand Prix.
