The Hero Group will pay Rs 3841.83 crore for Honda’s 26% stake. Hero Investments Private Limited, an investment company of the Hero Group stated that it is acquiring all of Honda’s 26% stake in Hero Honda at Rs 739.97 per share, which is at a discount of more than 50% over the current market value of Rs. 1518. The funds are being raised from private equity firms including Bain Capital and Lathe Investment.
