Royal Enfield Thunderbird

The iconic Indian motorcycle maker, Royal Enfield is again back with one of the most awaited events that happens in India for Royal Enfield lovers, the Tour of the Rann of Kutch. I am very sure almost all the Royal Enfield lovers do wait for this 7 day event commencing on 11th March and will go on till 17th March. The Tour of Rann of Kutch is surely one of the most cherished and proud moments in the lifetime of a Royal Enfield owner. During this event, you can enjoy the sunset at the Kala Dungar hill overlooking the spectacularly desolate Great Rann of Kutch and spend a moment at the Sardar Post in memory of brave soldiers of the Border Security Force who fought valiantly to repel the invaders in the 1965 war.

You can also marvel at the wonders of the 4000-year-old Harappan civilization site at Dholavira where archaeologists are peeling back the ravages of time and man, inch by inch. Also chances are that occasionally a Neelgai or Wild Ass may cross your path. However, the terrain that you have ride through is not a cake walk. It will be a very challenging one involving driving through both the smooth highways of Gujarat and off beaten tracks later. Riders would have to carry packed lunch along with them too. For these demanding reasons, the participation is only allowed for riders with medium to expert level riding skills. In case, you are interested, you shouldn’t waste any time and head straight away to fill the registration form here. Don’t forget that there is a long list of checks that you should ensure your bike goes through before embarking on the journey. You can find this list here. Best of luck to the interested people!
