Bajaj Auto has quietly launched the Pulsar 200 NS in Karnataka today, priced at an ex-showroom cost of Rs. 85,863/-. This is the third state in India to get the Pulsar 200 NS after Maharashtra and Delhi. The phased launch is showing positive results as Bajaj Auto is quickly launching the Pulsar 200 NS across India. The company aims to offer the new Pulsar 200 NS in all the cities by August 2012. At the same time, Bajaj is also launching the new Discover ST in a phased manner, which was recently launched in Tamil Nadu for a price of Rs. 55,740/- (ex-showroom).

Even though Bajaj Auto has not launched the Pulsar 200 NS and the Discover ST in all the cities across India yet, some of the dealers in these cities are accepting bookings, albeit unofficially. If you are planning to buy either of these machines, its best to pay the booking amount at your nearest dealers so you can get your bike at the earliest. The Pulsar 200 NS is available in 4 colours – black, blue, red and yellow. The yellow colour is said to command a slight premium over other colours.

The Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS is powered by a 199.5cc engine which employs triple spark plugs. It has 4-valves and offers the rider bang for the buck performance. 0 – 100 km/h is achieved in less than 10 seconds (9.83 seconds to be precise), while the top speed is 136 km/h. Handling is very good, thanks to the advancement in the technology used on the Pulsar 200 NS.
