Chevrolet Enjoy

The Chevrolet Enjoy is ready to enter the MPV segment in India within a few weeks of time as the vehicle appears on the automaker’s official website. The Enjoy will compete with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota Innova and Mahindra Xylo. Currently, the segment leader is the Maruti Ertiga and GM needs to price the Chevrolet Enjoy competitively in order to attract buyers. We expect the manufacturer to price the Enjoy MPV slightly above the Ertiga and below the Toyota Innova. The Chevrolet Enjoy MPV is sculpted on a monocoque chassis with the engines fitted longitudinally.

The Chevrolet Enjoy comes with both diesel and petrol engine options including a 4-cylinder 1.3-litre Fiat sourced diesel motor that produces a maximum power of 76 BHP at 4000 RPM with a peak torque of 188 Nm at 1750 RPM and a 1.4-litre petrol motor that churns out a maximum power of 103 BHP at 6000 RPM with 130 Nm of peak torque at 4400 RPM. Both the engines come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox that transmit the power and torque to the rear wheels. Chevrolet will be offering 14-inch wheels with 104 mm front ventilated discs and 240 mm rear drums for the Enjoy’s braking power.

The suspension setup on the Chevrolet Enjoy includes McPherson Strut with coil spring and stabilizer bar at the front while at the rear it features 5-link coil springs. On the inside, the Enjoy MPV gets a dual tone black and beige treatment with second row captain seats and third row double folding seats. The convenience features on offer with the Enjoy includes standard front and rear air conditioning on all trim levels, tilt steering, 12V power outlet at the third row, rear wiper and washer for better visibility in bad weather conditions, power adjustable rear view mirrors, remote keyless entry and height adjustable driver seat.
