Bajaj Pulsar 220 Modification

We have seen numerous modifications on the much popular Bajaj Pulsar with different styling elements and fairing. This time we are talking about an Indonesia based modifier, Rudy, who not only changed the fascia of a Bajaj Pulsar 220 but also tweaked the performance of the motorcycle extensively. The modification on the exterior of the Pulsar 220 gets design cues from the Suzuki GSX-R 600 facelifted with full fairing, which looks quite sporty. A motorcycle fairing is actually used on performance oriented bikes with a shell placed over the frame in order to reduce air drag.

A full fairing is preferred by many bike enthusiasts solely for the styling of the motorcycle. Apart from the fairing on the Pulsar 220’s body, Rudy has also revised the fuel tank, redesigned the rear tail with a custom Suzuki GSX 600 and added a delta box frame from Aprilia. The instrument panel on the modified Pulsar features custom speedometer cover with carbonized accent but the front and rear lights remain unchanged.

Coming to the suspension setup, the modification consists of upside down front forks from the Yamaha R6 with rear swing ProArm from the Honda RVF 400 combined with monoshock from the Kawasaki Ninja 250. The rims of the bike come from the Honda RVF 400 bolted on to Michelin tyres with a 120/70/17 profile up front and a 180/55/17 profile at the rear. The muffler is derived from the BM Custom CB1000, the footstep from the Ninja 250, front brakes from the Kawasaki ER6N and fender from the Yamaha R6.
