2014 Fiat Linea Facelift Brochure Reveals New Features

The C-segment sedan space is getting exciting recently. Honda launched the City with a diesel engine for the first time. Hyundai Verna is leading the segment for quite some time offering tremendous value. The German siblings – Volkswagen Vento and Skoda Rapid are fighting the stiff competition as well. However, there are some underrated sedans in this space that are being ignored and are not performing well in terms of sales. One is the Ford Fiesta and the other one is the Fiat Linea. Both the cars are getting a facelift that were unveiled at the 2014 Auto Expo.

We got a glimpse of the Fiat Linea facelift at the Auto Expo and got our hands on the brochure revealing the new features. The sales of the Fiat Linea facelift begins from March. In terms of styling, the new Fiat Linea doesn’t look a world apart from the previous model. It gets slight revisions on the grille, bumpers and few more elements that make it look a bit fresh. The noticeable changes are on the interiors, where you get an all new dashboard with a host of new convenience features.

The new design of the dashboard on the Linea facelift looks premium and the quality feels improved. The multimedia system gets USB, AUX and Bluetooth connectivity. For comfortable highway cruising, you get cruise control system. Other smart features include rain sensing wipers, automatic headlamps and reverse parking sensors. The engine options will be carried over from the previous model but we also expect Fiat India to introduce the 1.6-litre MultiJet diesel engine with the new offering.
