2014 Fiat Linea Facelift Priced Between Rs. 7.64 – 9.79 Lakhs

Fiat will launch the Linea facelift in the Indian market on the 5th of March (date hasn’t been fixed yet as Fiat is still looking at a date which doesn’t clash with any other automobile event). The car will be displayed at Fiat Caffes across India starting from the 26th of this month. Now thanks to our avid reader and forum moderator Kedar Bendre, we have got hold of the brochure and prices of the 2014 Fiat Linea. The vehicle is being offered in six variants, three each for petrol and diesel.

We have already briefed you about the features of the car but the specification sheet details all the features across the range. While the Dynamic variant has decent bit of kit, it’s really the Emotion trim which is truly loaded, even getting cruise control, a feature of less importance in our country but offered on quite a few cars in this segment. Fiat is offering the 2014 Linea with two engine options – 1.3-litre Multijet diesel and 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol, both motors coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The prices of the updated model are slightly lower than the pre-facelift car’s, due to the reduction in excise duty.

2014 Fiat Linea Prices (ex-showroom, Delhi) –

The 2014 Fiat Linea will compete with the likes of the new Honda City, Volkswagen Vento, Skoda Rapid, Nissan Sunny, Renault Scala and upcoming Ford Fiesta facelift. The automaker is expected to bring in the 1.6-litre diesel engine in the Fiat Linea later this year but nothing has been confirmed yet although the Italian company had made vocal its plans to bring the 1.6-litre Multijet diesel engine to India in the immediate future.
