2014 Fiat Punto Facelift Front Grille

With improving sales courtesy of the new network expansion plans, Fiat India has been making excellent growth and was one of the fastest growing brands in the country in 2013. Taking the growth momentum forward, Fiat has launched the ‘Hello Life’ campaign across India to convey the feeling of happiness and positivity around the brand ‘Fiat’. Hello Life is inspired by the Italian way of life says the company, and the campaign showcases the youthful and happy go lucky attitude of the Italian based manufacturer.

In this one of a kind brand initiative, Fiat will promote new talent in fashion, music and art who stand for the concept of Hello Life. The youngsters will be given a podium to showcase their talent at Fiat Caffes that are located in Delhi, Pune and Bengaluru. The new campaign will also portray happiness, joy and excitement with Pharrel William’s song called ‘Happy’ and will be used across the TVCs in the country. The campaign promotes the idea of having fun and being happy in any situation.

After parting ways with Tata Motors on the dealer level, Fiat has seen comeback with positive results and growth. Fiat achieved 41 percent sales growth from quarter two of 2013 to end of the calendar year. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) will bring two new brands and twelve major products in the country in the next five years. The company has so far set up 116 dealerships and 107 workshops in the country and plan to have 150 dealerships by the end of 2014. The company states that it is not only committed to bringing the best in technology in the automobile industry to India, but also the best in class sales and service.

Fiat India’s next major launch this year will be the 2014 Punto facelift, which was spotted on test, clearly showcasing the new grille and headlight, despite the camouflage. The Avventura inspired grille and headlights are evident on the Punto now, while the rear will be updated with a new tail gate and revised bumper design. We could also see the more prominent roof rails on the Punto facelift in these images.

The 2014 Punto will be sharing its interiors with the new Linea and is most likely to get updates on the equipment list as well. Powering the 2014 Fiat Punto will be the same engine options which include the 1.2-litre and 1.4-litre petrol and 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel engine options, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The Punto will also get a Sport variant with cosmetic upgrades over the regular models. The 2014 Punto facelift has been scheduled for a July launch in the country.
