Race Dynamics KTM Duke 390 Review

KTM and Bajaj have just rocked the performance motorcycling world in Europe and India. The motorcycles are a wet dream for two-stroke lovers and people who seek an adrenaline rush the moment they leave their homes for a ride. An unknown fact for most people was that KTM had a rough time in Brazil with their ex-partner Izzo. Since 2012, KTM stores were closed in Brazil but now a new partner called National Dafra, which is responsible for assembling bigger bikes for other European brands has tied up with KTM. KTM will concentrate really hard to improve their image in Brazil by offering their newly made quality products with excellent service to support. Something which made them win hearts in India as well.

KTM will be launching 14 new products over the next 3 years in the Brazilian market. India made Duke 125, 200 and 390 are on their way and so is the RC series. The SuperDuke 1290, Duke 690, Adventure 1190 and dirt bikes will come to the football crazy country via the CKD route. KTM says it was impossible to bring all the products at the same time. Something which does not go well with their accountants either as every product launch results in high initial cost of marketing and promotion.

KTM says globalisation is key to world dominance as it plans to bring down every Japanese manufacturer, giving a mad time to BMW and surpassing the American giant, Harley-Davidson. KTM wants to be everywhere right from small scooters to electric motorcycles in the next five years with the help of Bajaj, a manufacturer which is in the top five list of the largest manufacturer of just motorcycles in the world. KTM also plans to bring Husqvarna to Brazil, a company recently bought from their arch rival BMW. Husqvarna is also to be made in India with the help of Bajaj. All we want to say is that KTM came from no where and now they are sending their rivals “no where”.
