2015 Maruti DZire Facelift Updates & Features List [Video]

The DZire facelift witnesses a strong improvement on the features list while the exteriors are distinguishably different from the Swift hatchback.

While sales speak otherwise, Maruti Suzuki did feel that the DZire was looking sparsely equipped in comparison to the competition and that could affect its volumes. Hence, the automaker has updated the compact sedan for 2015 model year with a host of new features and aesthetic upgrades to keep its sales momentum going. With the model ready to launch and already being shipped to dealers pan India, reports suggest that Maruti will be officially launching the DZire facelift on 25th February with deliveries to commence shortly thereafter.

Exterior updates on the 2015 Maruti DZire facelift

* New single-slat chrome grille
* Smoked headlights
* New bumper with wider air intakes, chrome enclosures on the fog lights.
* Motion theme alloy wheels/wheel covers on lower variants
* New rear bumper without the fog light

Updated features on 2015 Maruti DZire facelift

* Electrically foldable rear view mirrors
* Push-button start
* Bluetooth-enabled audio system with telephony buttons on the steering wheel
* Rear parking sensors
* Boot-lid release button on the key fob
* Keyless entry
* Rear power socket

In addition, Maruti Suzuki will also introduce three additional colours on the 2015 DZire facelift including Eclair brown, metallic grey and metallic blue. In terms of powertrain, the 1.2-litre K-Series petrol and 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engines will continue to power the compact sedan and are expected to see a 10 percent improvement in fuel efficiency, much like the recently updated Swift hatchback. Prices for the new DZire start at Rs. 5.07 lakhs for the base LXi version going up to Rs. 7.81 lakhs for the top-end ZDi trim (ex-showroom, Delhi).
