2015 Mercedes B-Class Facelift Unveiled, India Bound

Mercedes-Benz will showcase the 2015 B-Class at the Paris Auto Show later this year. The German automaker has now officially revealed pictures and other details of the vehicle. The 2015 B-Class comes as an improvement over the outgoing model. It packs in cosmetic changes, refreshed interiors and the addition of some features, making the B-Class a much better package now. The Mercedes B-Class found many haters thanks to its design which made it look like a boring MPV. Mercedes has addressed that and now the vehicle gets sportier bumpers. The front airdam gets larger now while the head lights are redesigned and come with optional LEDs.

The rear of the B-Class gets a chrome strip on the boot and bi-colour LED lights. The interiors look refreshing and funky now thanks to the twelve different lighting modes that Mercedes provides. The steering wheel is also all new and the multimedia system features an 8-inch screen. The 2015 B-Class will be available in three variants – Style, Urban and AMG Line. Mercedes will also make available three additional kit options – Night, Exclusive and AMG Exclusive. A new feature is the KEYLESS-GO system that is again an optional extra.

The 2015 Mercedes B-Class comes with similar mechanicals as the current model. It will be offered with four petrol and four diesel engines in Europe. The 4MATIC system from Mercedes will be made available on the B220, B250, B200 CDI and B220 CDI. The vehicle will be launched in Europe on 29th November 2014 and it will make its way to India in the first quarter of 2015.
