Scheduled to make its official debut at the Paris Motor Show next month, images of the 2015 Mercedes-AMG C63 (no Benz on new AMG models) have been revealed online showcasing the sedan and estate versions of the four-door sports car and must we say it looks absolutely smoking hot. Based on the C-Class, the AMG tuned sedan gets a revised grille, aggressive bumpers with wider air intakes, 18-inch alloy wheels, sports side skirts, rear diffuser and the trademark quad-exhausts at the rear to give out its sporty credentials, while differentiating the car from the regular version.

On the inside, the 2015 Mercedes C63 AMG gets a flat-bottom steering wheel wrapped up Alcantara leather with silver accents, all-new instrument cluster and illuminated sill plates with carbon fibre accents. There are also the AMG performance sports seats with red sports seat belts, while rest of the interior is done up in Nappa leather. Mercedes will also offer an Edition 1 version of the C63 AMG available in limited numbers which gets 19-inch alloy wheels, graphite stripes on the body and red accents on the front grille.

Under the hood, the new 4.0-litre V8 Bi-turbo powerplant comes from the new Porsche 911 rivalling AMG GT that produces 476 PS of power and 650 Nm of torque in the standard C63 AMG, while there is also the new top-end ‘S’ version that gets some bump in power offering 510 PS and 700 Nm of torque to your right foot. Also differentiating the S version from the regular C63 AMG are the 19-inch alloys, glossy black accents on the front bumper, electronic locking rear differential, dynamic engine mounts, and uprated front and rear axles.

Weighing around 1800 kgs, power is sent to the rear wheels via the 7-speed SPEEDSHIFT MCT automatic transmission on the 2015 C63 AMG. All-Wheel Drive although a possibility has not been confirmed yet. Coming to performance figures, the new C63 AMG does the 0-100 km/hr run in 4.1 seconds on the standard version, the C63 S does the same distance in 4.0 seconds flat. More details on the sports sedan will be available at the time of official unveil, while the Indian launch will happen next year. With Mercedes bullish about bringing its AMG models to India, the C63 does not seem too far away.
