The Brazil-spec Duster gets new two-slat grille and internal elements for the headlights

With the official launch scheduled for 31st March in the Latin American nation, the 2015 Renault Duster facelift was snapped at dealerships in Brazil showcasing all the updates on the new model. The Duster facelift first went on sale across Europe in late 2013 and gets several new updates to the exteriors and interiors, while there have also been certain additions made specifically for the Brazilian market.

The updates on the 2015 Renault Duster facelift include the refreshed front fascia that sports a new twin-slat grille done up gloss black and redesigned headlights with new internal elements which are divided into three parts. Moving to the rear, the new tail light cluster with a LED pattern looks extremely flamboyant and has been specially added for the Brazilian market. The front and rear bumpers also get new brushed silver finished skid plates that lend an aggressive appeal to the compact SUV.

Inside the cabin, changes include new centre console with a piano black finish, new air-con vents with the very nice brown bezels and the new black and brown leather upholstered seats. Infotainment duties continue to be performed by the touchscreen system with satellite navigation and the vehicle also gets Bluetooth, USB and AUX connectivity options. In terms of powertrain, the 1.6-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engines will continue to be found under the hood with the latter paired to a 4-speed auto box and a 4-Wheel drive unit. While Renault India updated the Duster earlier this month, the compact SUV came with only interior upgrades. The India-spec Duster though is expected to get a major facelift next year.
