DSK Benelli dealerships have been strategically placed across the country

Benelli in October last year had announced that they will be entering our country and launched five of its performance motorcycles on 19th March 2015, priced between Rs. 2.83 to Rs. 11.81 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Italian brand Benelli, which is also the oldest motorcycle manufacturer in Italy, has brought in its street fighters and tourers in India in partnership with DSK. DSK who has a good track record and name in the premium motorcycle industry which has helped Benelli to price their motorcycles competitively as a result.

In light of the Benelli launch, DSK Motowheels has registered more than 300 bookings within a week (which is a big number). This figure shows the pace with which the Indian superbike industry has grown in recent years. Registrations of the superbikes have been done across all nine DSK Benelli showrooms in the country which are in the cities of Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Goa.

The range of five superbikes encompass the TNT 300 which has an in-line twin-cylinder 300cc engine, TNT 600i and TNT 600 GT which are powered in-line four-cylinder 600cc engines, TNT 899 which has an in-line three-cylinder 898cc engine and the flagship TNT 1130 which is equipped with an in-line three-cylinder 1131cc engine.

The brand has definitely gone well with Indian buyers and DSK Benelli is also planning to expand its current dealership network from 9 to 20 outlets by this year end. With a good backup of service stations and spare parts, the brand also offers a 24×7 on call breakdown service. Benelli will also update the existing range with ABS later this year and equip the feature on the TNT 300 and 600 models over the next few months while the TNT 899 and 1130 will get it by the end of this year. Addition of ABS will definitely help Benelli stack up more sales of its entire superbike lineup.
