A rendering of the production spec version of the Honda CBR250RR has been revealed and the bike will be officially revealed in early 2016.

Honda CBR250RR Production Spec
The CBR250RR comes with very striking design elements

A lot of speculations were floating around Honda’s twin-cylinder bike with a quarter-litre engine. A rendering of the bike was shown by Young Machine magazine and now there is another rendering which has been revealed by the same magazine. This time the rendering is from another angle and it showcases the sporty styling of the bike. It also showcases the new design language adopted by Honda from the CBR300R and the HRC Moto GP bike.

From the rendering, the bike looks very sporty and has a lot of sharp and striking design elements that lend a lot of appeal to it. The picture also shows the bike in a bright red colour. Honda had showcased the Light Weight Super Sport Concept at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show last month and the CBR250RR is going to be a production version of that concept. Since Honda hasn’t put out any official word on the CBR250RR, we are still awaiting more details about the bike.

The bike is likely to be powered by a V-Twin engine that will pump out at least 37 HP of power and 24 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and it is sure going to be a tarmac scorcher. It is highly unlikely that Honda will introduce this bike in India. It will, however, be revealed in Indonesia by the start of the next year and will be officially launched in the first half of 2016. The Honda CBR250RR will compete with the likes of the Yamaha R25 and Kawasaki Ninja 250.
