The Bajaj Pulsar is often credited with popularizing the performance commuter bike segment in India even though the original bike was far from perfect. But over the years, Bajaj kept on working with the Pulsar and has been continually improving it with every iteration. With an engineering point of view, the Pulsar platform is now one of the most versatile motorcycle platform which is easy to work on and modify. Thus from time to time, we come across a few marvels based on the Bajaj motorcycle such as this new Bajaj Pulsar P200GT Cafe Racer.

The Bajaj Pulsar P200GT is by the talented pool of people at NY Customs, based in Alwar, Rajasthan. The bike has undergone extensive bodywork changes which have completely transformed the look and character of the motorcycle. It features custom-made cafe racer style panels, a bikini fairing with a circular headlamp flanked by a pair of pilot lamps, aftermarket clip-on handlebars, a retro fuel cap, a hump-cowl replacing the pillion seat and a stylishly hidden LED tail-lamp. The bike is painted in a beautiful blue shade with accents of gold.

Mechanically, the Pulsar Cafe Racer gets the same 198.8cc engine but with an up-jetted carburettor. The exhaust has also been replaced for a megaphone-type unit and the number plate is moved to the left side of the bike. Other changes include an aftermarket K&N air filter and a fatter rear tyre. The P200GT retains the perimeter frame chassis of the bike along with its suspension setup and alloy wheel design.
