The Innova Crysta looks much sharper than the current Innova

If there’s one MPV which took the market by storm, it has to be the Toyota Innova. Launched in 2005, the car had a big responsibility of filling in the space vacated by the Qualis and it did it very well. Over the years, it got minimal exterior changes with the mechanicals remaining almost the same. However, now the Japanese brand is giving it a comprehensive makeover.

The new Innova or the Innova Crysta as Toyota likes to call it, looks very striking. It gets an extensive feature list and will come with all new engines. The MPV was displayed at the 2016 Auto Expo and garnered amazing response. This has prompted the company to prepone the launch and shift it from May to April.

The Toyota Innova Crysta has started reaching dealerships across India and we received pictures of the same from our reader. The cars spotted are the top-end Z variant which gets the 2.8-litre engine. This reaffirms the fact that these are dealer display and demo cars which are usually the top-end variants.

A lot of people are eagerly waiting for the Toyota Innova Crysta to be launched. Many of the ones waiting, want to replace their current Innova with a new one as there is simply no alternative to it unless one goes multiple segments higher. If priced well, this car has the potential to generate brilliant sales response and surprise Toyota itself.
