Honda Cars India is set to come up with a totally updated version of its prominent sedan, the Amaze in June 2018 with a series of major changes in both exterior as well as interior features.

Honda Cars India is ready to transform its present Amaze into a completely new breed. According to sources, there will be an induction of new features along with a huge development in safety features as well. It is well known that the present safety norms for automotive industry in the country are going to be revised later this decade. The Japanese automaker is therefore looking forward to make safety as a priority for its cars in India.

At present, all Honda cars have safety features like dual airbags, structural rigidity and integrated body shell to provide safety at the time of collision. The next generation Honda Amaze will be fully loaded with highly advanced safety features to meet the upcoming mandatory safety norms in the country.

The company launched the Amaze in April 2013. There had been a total sales of 1,96,032 units till now comprising of about 54% sales of the diesel variant. Honda launched the facelifted version of the Amaze in March 2016.

The new facelift of the Amaze is powered by Honda’s 1.5-litre Earth Dreams technology diesel engine. It delivers a mileage of 25.8 km/l as per ARAI. The face-lifted Honda Amaze is priced between Rs. 5.29 – 8.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is available in six petrol variants and four diesel variants which definitely make the car for those looking for low budget sedans.

At present Honda is looking forward to hit the market with the next generation Amaze and will start its production in its Greater Noida plant in June 2018. The old version of the Amaze was produced at both the Greater Noida plant and the Tapukara facelift which is currently going under capacity expansion process.
