The Bajaj Kratos VS 400 first made its debut at the 2016 Auto Expo and it was expected that the company will launch the bike in August-September. Test mules of the bike have been spotted quite a lot of times and the buzz was at an all time high. However, launch of the bike has now been delayed to November 2016.

Bajaj Auto has seen a slight drop in sales this August compared to last year. Exports were down by 31% while domestic sales were up by 25%. The company is now looking forward to the festive season where it aims to fetch in really good numbers. Demand always rises during the festive season and hence the company’s priority is to first fulfil the demand and then launch the Kratos VS 400 at a later date.

It is likely that the bike will be launched in November 2016. The Bajaj Kratos VS 400 is definitely one of the most awaited bikes of this year. It comes with telescopic forks at the front, rear monoshock suspension, optional dual-channel ABS, front and rear petal disc brakes, LED head lamps and two instrument clusters.

The Kratos VS 400 is powered by a 373.27cc single-cylinder engine sourced from the KTM Duke 390. The engine produces 34.51 HP of power and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Kratos VS 400 will be competing with the likes of the Mahindra Mojo and Royal Enfield Classic.
