The soon to be launched facelifted Chevrolet Beat had been caught testing in Delhi a while ago. Now, spy shots of the interior of the car follow.
The interiors of the upcoming Chevrolet Beat facelift have been spied in a bunch of new images. As seen from the images, Chevrolet wants to spruce up the interiors by offering features like Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto in the top end versions courtesy of the central console which now houses a big touchscreen system just below the AC vents.
The central AC vents also seem to be worked upon as well. The infotainment system incorporates a polished silver frame which looks much better. The controls for the manually operated AC are housed below this system. It’s difficult to tell anything about the climate control system though which once used to be present in the Beat.
The interiors are a flux of black and beige along-with the seats being covered in a light shade. This will aid to the overall feel of the cabin being roomier. The gear knob is also a tad different from the previous model. The steering wheel remains the same. The speedometer console it seems has undergone some visual changes as well. The outer casing seems new and the unit has more of a rectangular design now.
The rest of the interiors remain more or less the same. The new Beat will continue to come with the same engine options that include a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.0-litre diesel unit. Both these options are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Overall, the addition of a touch-screen unit and the black and beige interior combination is a very welcome change to the Beat as the car has been in need of an interior overhaul.
