The Tata Kite 5 diesel has been spied undergoing rigorous testing and the company is in the process of ironing out niggles.
Spy pictures of the Tata Kite 5 have been doing rounds of the internet since a really long time. This time, the Kite 5 diesel has been spied and it is said that the vehicle had 1 lakh kms on the odo. It means that Tata is going full out with the testing and the automaker doesn’t want to leave any stone unturned.
The company is in the process of ironing out niggles from the car and hence the compact sedan is being tested extensively across the country for long durations. The Kite 5 is a compact sedan based on the recently-launched Tiago and the vehicle will share its front fascia with the hatchback.
The rear seems to carry a proportionate design while the interiors will be loaded with features like automatic climate control, touchscreen Harman Kardon infotainment system, electrically adjustable ORVMs, etc. The Kite 5 will get the same petrol and diesel engines that also power the Tiago and the sedan will also get an AMT gearbox.
