2017 Pulsar 220 Red Colour Gets Golden Graphics

The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220 has been spotted at a dealership with a new colour scheme.

Is the new colour scheme a yay or a nay?

The Bajaj Pulsar range has been around for quite sometime selling in good numbers. One model that has been consistent in this range in terms of sales is the Pulsar 220. The motorcycle has held its ground despite the launch of the RS 200. The motorcycle has been continuously selling 5000 units a month.

Bajaj is known to continuously update its motorcycles to remain in competition. One such way that it adopts is changing the colours and graphics on the motorcycles which make them look fresh. Bajaj has done the same with the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220 along with some other changes.

The manufacturer has introduced a new dual tone Red paint job with Golden graphics on the Pulsar 220. This colour has not been introduced earlier on the model. A bike in this colour scheme was spotted parked at a dealership. It is likely that Bajaj will launch it soon. Apart from this, the Pulsar 220 comes with a Black-Red colour and a new Blue colour introduced with the BS IV model.

For model year 2017, Bajaj has introduced changes on the Pulsar 220. The engine has been updated and made BS IV compliant. This has increased the fuel efficiency of the bike but the output remains the same at 21.05 PS and 19.12 Nm. Other changes include a revised instrument cluster with blue backlit (previous one had orange backlit) and better cushioned seats.

The Bajaj Pulsar 220 is still preferred by buyers due to its relaxed seating position and its ability to cruise easily on the highways. The half faired look is appeals to many people as compared to the styling on the RS 200 which is considered overdone by many people. The bike still has many fans despite being a bit old now.
