2017 Honda CBR250R Launched In Malaysia

The 2017 Honda CBR250R has been launched in Malaysia and it will be retailed as a CBU.

The 2017 Honda CBR250R gets a dual headlamp setup upfront

Honda Malaysia has launched the 2017 CBR250R and has priced it at MYR 21,940.94 (approximately Rs. 3.26 lakhs) for the Black paint scheme and MYR 22,258.94 (approximately Rs. 3.31 lakhs) for the Millenium Red and Lemon Yellow paint schemes.

Powering the 2017 Honda CBR250R is a 249.67cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC mill producing 27.46 HP and 23.30 Nm of torque. This engine comes coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The Japanese Honda CBR250R in comparison produces a higher 29 HP.

Tipping the scales at 161 kgs, the 2017 CBR250R comes with a 13-litre fuel tank. The motorcycle features low-friction piston rings and iridium spark plugs to help reduce maintenance costs. The CBR250R runs on 110 section tyre upfront and a 140 section tyre at the rear. Both the wheels are 17-inchers and the CBR250R is available in three different paint schemes, Black, Red and Lemon Yellow.

Meanwhile in India, Honda has discontinued both the CBR150R and CBR250R. Honda also has not yet announced any plans of launching the updated CBR150R and CBR250R.
