The 2017 Nissan Micra has been launched and it gets features like auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers and lead-me-to-car.
The 2017 Nissan Micra has been launched in India and it is priced from Rs. 6.30-7.60 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai). This is the same generation car and this is an updated model with some feature additions and minor changes.
Feature additions include auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers, and follow-me-home headlamps. The interiors too have been given a minor rejig. While the interiors adopt an all-black theme, there are orange accents on the dashboard, arm rests and the seats too get orange stitching. The 2017 Nissan Micra is also offered with a 3 year extended warranty.
Rest, the interiors still offer the 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, steering-mounted audio controls and push button start. The Nissan Micra will be continued to be powered by the same engines offered on the previous iteration – there’s a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 77 HP and comes mated to a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 64 HP and comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
The Micra Active, a scaled down version of the Micra too has received some minor changes. The Micra Active comes with a manual transmission with the petrol engine and features a new bumper and a new steering wheel with audio controls. The 2017 Micra is available in a choice of 7 exterior colours – Sunshine Orange, Brick Red, Turquoise Blue, Blade Silver, Onyx Black, Storm White and Nightshade.
