The upcoming Yamaha R15 V3.0 has been spotted on Indonesian roads without any camouflage. The new R15 reveals drastic changes compared to the current model. It looks more sharp thanks to the aggressive new fairing, sleek headlamps, muscular fuel tanks and a chiseled out rear section. For a 150cc segment bike, it looks super sporty.

There will be a huge update in the mechanical front as well. The Yamaha R15 V3 will come equipped with USD forks up front with a link type monocross rear setup. The chassis is expected to be carried forward from the current model, which is the deltabox frame known for sharp handling.

The new Yamaha R15 V3 will also get an updated engine with 155cc displacement with Variable Valve Actuation Technology that will provide optimum power in an efficient manner. Some of the other key highlights of the new R15 include LED headlamps, all-discs, all-digital instrument cluster. The Yamaha R15 V3.0 is expected to make its global debut in mid-2017 and we can expect a pricier tag with the new model.
