With the larger engine, the Grand i10 will get a small bump in power figures

The Hyundai Grand i10 finds a place in the top 10 selling cars in India. The hatchback is offered with both petrol and diesel engines. While the petrol engine is a 1.2-litre unit, the oil-burner is a 1.1-litre CRDI unit. The current diesel engine produces 70 HP of power and 160 Nm of torque.

Hyundai is going to launch the Grand i10 facelift in the coming few months and the vehicle will now come with a new 1.2-litre diesel engine. The bigger engine will produce slightly more power and torque. The engine will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and Hyundai won’t offer an automatic gearbox with the oil-burner.

The Hyundai Grand i10 facelift will come with changes to the exteriors and the car will get a fresher design. On the inside, expect the hatchback to get more features like a touchscreen infotainment system. The Grand i10 will also come with LED DRLs. The Hyundai Grand i10 competes with the Maruti Swift, Maruti Ignis, Chevrolet Beat, Ford Figo and Mahindra KUV100.
