The Honda CBR250RR is arguably the most technologically advanced bike in its segment, with features such as ride-by-wire and three riding modes. The bike is also one of the favourites among the modding community for its easy wrench-ability and availability of spares. All of them are working hard round-the-clock to make the already sporty bike a more fun and exhilarating affair.

One dedicated and talented company called TrickStar, which is a very big name in the aftermarket exhaust market, has managed to make a new custom exhaust system which has enabled the baby CBR break the 185 km/hr mark on the speedometer.

The Honda CBR250RR is currently the most powerful bike in the quarter-litre class and produces 38.7 PS of power and 23.3 Nm of torque. The people at TrickStar exhaust were able to fabricate a special exhaust for the bike which let the engine breathe better and produce maximum energy. Coupled with some cooling upgrades and removal of bodywork for greater ventilation, the bike was able to reach a speedometer-indicated top speed of 185 km/hr.

An interesting point to be noted here is that the top speed was achieved at around 12,500 RPM whereas the rev-limiter of the motorcycle is placed at the 14,000 RPM mark. The Honda CBR250RR is powered by a 249.7cc parallel-twin engine coupled to a 6-speed transmission. The bike gets a largest-in-class 310 mm front disc, whereas the rear gets a 240 mm disc. ABS is available as an option.
