The Maruti Ciaz RS, which came with a body kit and spoiler, has been discontinued from the market.

Maruti Ciaz SHVS Review
The RS version was based on the Z+ trims of the petrol and diesel variants

The Maruti Ciaz is a successful C-segment sedan and to boost its sales, the automaker had launched an RS version in 2015. Basically, the RS version was nothing but a more stylish looking variant since it came with a body kit. The body kit includes front and rear bumper skirting and side skirts. Along with that, it also got a rear spoiler.

No mechanical changes were made to the car. However, Maruti has now discontinued the Ciaz RS because there is no mention of it on the company’s website or price list. Maruti is currently working on the Ciaz facelift so the automaker might re-launch the RS version when the updated Ciaz is launched.

The facelifted version of the Maruti Ciaz is due for launch by April 2017 and will be sold via the company’s NEXA retail network. The Ciaz, along with the Baleno and Vitara Brezza have been the top-sellers in their respective segments.
