The Toyota Etios Liva has been facing tough competition in the hatchback segment from its rivals. Toyota had updated both the Etios and Liva back in 2016 but it still couldn’t manage to keep up with others in sales. To keep up with the sales of its rivals, Toyota has launched a new Dual-Tone Etios Liva. The new vehicles gets roof rails, dual-tone contrast roof and pillars, a front grille with a black coloured finish, new fog lamps with chrome finish, diamond cut alloy wheels and electrically foldable ORVMs.

The Toyota Etios Liva Dual-Tone is available in the V and VX trims only. The car comes with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat locks as standard. On the inside, the hatchback gets a new piano black instrument panel, rear removable headrests and a new Optriton Combimeter.

The new Dual-Tone Etios Liva is priced in the range of Rs. 5,94,535/- to 6,44,861/- for petrol and Rs. 7,24,361/- to Rs. 7,61,403/- for diesel (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The main rivals of the Toyota Etios Liva are the Hyundai Grand i10, Tata Tiago and Maruti Swift. There are no mechanical changes to the car. Last month, Toyota sold just 906 units of the Etios Liva while the sedan managed to find 2189 homes.
