The Royal Enfield Himalayan will get an updated version with FI and also ABS, for India.

Royal Enfield Himalayan Review
The RE Himalayan is priced from £9,999 (Rs. 8.2 lakhs) in the UK

The Royal Enfield Himalayan was launched in India last year and the Indian version misses out on FI and ABS. The 410cc, single-cylinder engine gets a carburettor. The adventure bike is sold in the UK too and Royal Enfield launched an updated version of the Himalayan there, which gets fuel injection and ABS.

The Himalayan is going to get FI and the updated model is showcased on Royal Enfield’s Indian website. In addition to that, we cannot rule out the possibility of Royal Enfield launching the ABS-equipped model here.

When RE upgraded the bike to BS4 recently, it got a price hike of Rs. 6000/- and with the introduction of FI, we expect prices to go up by an additional Rs. 10,000/-. The top variant which will get ABS as well as FI will see a price increase of Rs. 25,000-30,000/-.
