Bajaj Auto has launched the Modenas Pulsar 200 NS, RS 200 in the Malaysian market in collaboration with Modenas.

Bajaj Auto has ventured into the Malaysian market in collaboration with Modenas and launched their Pulsar 200 NS, RS 200 and the V. The Modenas Pulsar models will be initially imported from India and later in the future will be manufactured and assembled by the Modenas group in Malaysia.

Powering both the Pulsars is a 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected mill mated to a 6-speed gearbox producing 24.5 HP at 9750 RPM and 18.6 Nm of torque at 8000 RPM. Both the bikes feature front and rear disc brakes. The RS 200 gets features like projector headlamps and a single-channel ABS for the front wheel.

While the 200 NS is available in Wild Red and Graphite Black colour options, the RS 200 is available in Racing Blue and Graphite Black colour options as well. Bajaj also launched the 200 NS Fi in Turkey recently with a more powerful engine and more features as compared to the Indian-spec Pulsar NS 200.

The Modenas Pulsar NS 200 comes priced at MYR 9222 (approximately Rs. 1.38 lakhs) while the RS 200 is priced at MYR 11,342 (approximately Rs. 1.69 lakhs). Both the motorcycles will be available only at select Modenas dealerships.
