Bookings for the MV Agusta Brutale 800 are open in India and this exotic Italian motorcycle is about to go on sale soon. The iconic sport-naked Brutale 800 is expected to be priced around Rs. 15 lakhs (ex-showroom).

The MV Agusta Brutale 800 will come to India via the SKD (Semi Knocked Down) route and assembled here at the Kinetic plant. The 2017 iteration looks the same in silhouette but there are updates like the all new digital meter, new tank design and DRLs that are housed outside the headlamp. The tail section and the rear passenger seat have also been redesigned.

Sitting on a slightly longer wheelbase and an extended trail, the base frame remains the same with a red trellis frame. The MV Agusta Brutale 800 gets a 796cc in-line three-cylinder motor with 12-valves and counter-rotating crankshaft which produce 109 HP and 83 Nm of torque.

Also on offer are a ride-by-wire system with different riding modes, 8 level traction control system, 3 level ABS, electronic EAS (Electronically Assisted Shift) 2.0 shift assist for clutchless shifts and a hydraulic slipper clutch. Suspension comprises of 43 mm upside-down fully adjustable Marzocchi forks up front while the rear is a fully adjustable Sachs unit.

This motorcycle comes with twin 320 mm discs with Brembo calipers up front and a single 220 mm disc at the rear and the tyres are Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3s. The MV Agusta Brutale 800 rivals the Triumph Street Triple, Kawasaki Z900 and will be launched shortly.
