Recently, the updated TVS Apache RTR 160 had been spotted testing in Bangalore and now it has been spotted yet again near the company’s manufacturing plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu.

The spotted test mule wore no camouflage and features an oil-cooled engine. The updated TVS Apache RTR 160 wears the same design language as its elder sibling, the Apache 200 4V. Some of the elements like headlamp, LED tail-light, turn indicators, monoshock suspension, dual barrel exhaust and the front and rear mudguards have been borrowed from the Apache 200.

The single piece seat design, silver side panels, lack of rear-disc (however TVS might offer it as optional), skinny rear tyre and the saree guard on the Apache RTR 160 help in differentiating it from the Apache 200.

Engine specifications are unknown yet and this upcoming TVS Apache RTR 160 will directly rival the Bajaj Pulsar 160 NS. It is also possible that TVS might be discontinuing the Apache 180 after the launch of updated Apache RTR 160.
