Tata Motors revamps its line-up of cars, while the Safari Storme is still on sale, the Safari Dicor has been discontinued.

Tata Motors has made some tweaks to its Indian portfolio of cars. While the Safari Dicor has been discontinued, the Indica and the Indigo eCS compact sedan’s websites have been under maintenance.

Meanwhile, the Safari Storme is still on sale in India. Also the webpages of the Indica and the Indigo eCS have been under maintenance. Sales of the the Indica and the Indigo eCS have also been on the lower side owing to lack of demand and introduction of the new Bolt hatchback and the Zest compact sedan. We had reported earlier also that Tata is going to discontinue these cars.

Tata Motors’ current products for India are based on 6 platforms. The company aims at increasing the economies of scale and price its products competitively by limiting the number of platforms for its products.
