It was very recently that the RE twin-cylinder bike had been spotted in a Cafe Racer and a Bonneville-like Street version. It was the first time that the Street version had been spotted and that indeed had caught most of the attention than the Cafe Racer version.
While Royal Enfield hasn’t yet confirmed officially as to which variant will make it to Indian showrooms, we expect Royal Enfield to introduce only the Street version of the twin-cylinder bike, as this primarily rivals the Harley-Davidson Street 750, while the Cafe Racer might be only for the export markets.
The video above shows the bike’s speeding prowess. A KTM Duke 390 rider tries hard to come near the Royal Enfield bike but the rider on the latter just zooms away. Like it was previously told that this twin-cylinder bike will be highway speed worthy, this video footage proves that point to be true.
Also, note that the motorcycle spotted here is the Cafe Racer version of the twin-cylinder bike courtesy the rider’s committed riding position. The Royal Enfield twin-cylinder bike is expected to displace around 500cc-600cc with a power output of 45-50 HP. Also, the motorcycle is expected to get ABS and Pirelli tyres as standard.
