2018 Apache 160 Spied Testing Yet Again

The upcoming TVS Apache 160 has been spied testing yet again on Indian roads.

TVS is yet to confirm a launch timeline for the 2018 Apache 160

The 2018 Apache 160 has been spotted testing yet again on Indian roads. TVS hasn’t yet confirmed that it is working on a new-generation Apache, but it’s high-time TVS gave an update to the flagship series. TVS updated the Apache 160 and 180 back in 2012.

TVS is expected to update both the Apache 160 and 180. This isn’t the first time that the new Apache has been spotted. The bike spotted here could be the Apache 160. The motorcycle borrows design cues from its elder sibling, the Apache 200. The headlamp, fuel-tank and rear seat cowl will remind you of the 200. However, there is some cost-cutting done on the 160.

The Apache 160 gets slim tyres, rear drum brake (disc brake may be offered as an optional extra), single-piece seat, silver panels on the side. Rest, the 160 also gets the same full digital instrument cluster, rear monoshock and the double barrel exhaust from the Apache 200.

The Apache 160 is expected to continue with the same 160cc motor that develops 15.2 HP of power and 13.1 Nm of torque. This motor comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
