2018 Datsun GO, GO+ Launched In Indonesia

The 2018 Datsun GO and GO+ have been launched in Indonesia, the GO gets an optional CVT gearbox.

The 2018 Datsun GO and GO+ have been launched in Indonesia priced from IDR 10,29,90,000 (approximately Rs. 4.9 lakhs) and IDR 11,23,80,000 (approximately Rs. 5.34 lakhs) respectively. Both the cars are expected to be launched in India sometime later this year or early next year.

The mid-life cycle updates to the Datsun GO and GO+ does make the two cars look fresh. The headlights remain similar, however, the grille is wider while the bumper gets a slight tweak and looks a lot sportier. There are vertically-stacked LED DRLs in the front bumper. At the sides, there are new 14-inch alloy wheels while the rear windshield gets a washer and wiper.

The cabin is where most of the changes are. The 2018 Datsun GO and GO+ get a redesigned dashboard with a new 6.75-inch touchscreen infotainment system that adorns the centre console. There is a redesigned instrument console and the steering wheel too gets a silver insert. The automaker has also optimised the backrest of the front seats for better comfort.

The facelifted Datsun GO and GO+ continue to draw power from a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that makes 68 PS (78 PS in GO CVT) of power and 104 Nm of torque. Both the cars get a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard but in the Datsun GO, there is an optional CVT gearbox available.
